How to take screenshots from your genos 1 or 2

First make sure you have a USB stick installed on your keyboard

1) With the Genos turned OFF, press and HOLD buttons BREAK - ENDING 2 - ENDING 3. Keep them pressed and turn on the keyboard, (See photo A).

2) Wait until the keyboard has fully loaded then you can release the three buttons.

​

3) Select the registration page you wish to take a screenshot of. Whatever you see on the screen will be the screenshot.

4) Press ONE TOUCH SETTING number 4 button quickly once, (See photo B). You may hear a noise like a cymbal or sound to confirm the screenshot has been taken. If you don't hear anything, don't worry, some sounds are very quiet.

5) Repeat steps 3 and 4 for each screenshot you wish to take.

6) The screenshot is saved on your USB stick as a BITMAP file.

​

7) Turn off the keyboard.

​

8) Remove the USB key

​

9) Connect the USB to your Mac or PC.

​

10) Locate the BITMAP files. They should look like this; CAPToooo.bmp,

CAPTooo1.bmp etc.

11) You need to convert these BITMAP files to JPEG so the images can be used for your videos.

​

12) Once converted I like to rename each screenshot to represent the screen view, such as R1 for Registration 1.
